GENERAL STUDIES
Although some might ask, “what can you do with a General Studies degree?”, an even better question might be, “what can’t you do with a General Studies degree?” The Associate of Arts degree in General Studies is an excellent choice for students who want to keep their options open, or for students interested in pursuing career goals that are not directly analogous to other programs at Gordon College.
Area F Requirements
Choose two courses from each of the following Areas†: 18 - 20 hours

† Students are encouraged to select courses which best match their career objectives.
* Students may use excess Area F credit hours to satisfy Area B requirements.
** Students with credit for SPAN 1001 and/or SPAN 1002 cannot receive credit for
SPAN 1060.
Students with credit for SPAN 1060 cannot receive credit for SPAN 1001 and/or
SPAN 1002.
Courses may not be used to satisfy requirements in more than one Area.
