Gordon College

ENGLISH

The mission of the Language Arts in Gordon College's Division of Humanities is to celebrate the diverse expression of human emotion, thought, imagination, creativity and discovery by improving each student's foundation in writing, reading and research in foreign languages, English, literature, communication and philosophy.

An Associates of Arts Degree in English allows you to concentrate in a specific area of study which closely corresponds with bachelor’s degrees and prepares you for careers in media, business, and communications.  The degree can also lead toward professional and graduate-level programs in literature, law, theology, and library science.
