CRIMINAL JUSTICE

An Associate of Science Degree in Criminal Justice will provide you with a foundation for pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and lead you toward a general understanding of the complex factors that influence human behavior. Graduates have pursued careers in a variety of roles, including law enforcement officers, corrections officers, attorneys, and paralegals.

Advising Notes

  • Students are often eligible for joint award of the Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice and the Associate of Arts degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology by taking as few as two additional classes; your advisor can provide further information on this option.
  •  Students with credit for SPAN 1001 and/or SPAN 1002 cannot receive credit for SPAN 1060; Students with credit for SPAN 1060 cannot receive credit for SPAN 1001 and/or  SPAN 1002.
  • Students who started at Gordon College before Fall, 2007, should consult their advisor regarding Area C requirements.
