Manuel Chavez scored inside the first five minutes off of the hard work of Elvis Opoku and Mike Obilor score inside the last five on a clever assist from John Paz. "The field conditions made playing very difficult but I was pleased with how the team adapted" stated coach Scott Henderson. The Fire Ants of USC-Sumter had some good looks at goal late in the game but could not convert and Obilor's late goal shut the door on any come-back hopes.
