Yea! New Cheer Squad Selected

The 2009-2010 Gordon College cheerleading squad has been selected. After two different tryouts and more than 90 participants, the judges have provided us with the results.

Final Cheerleading Tryouts Set

The final tryout for the 2009-2010 Gordon College cheerleading squad will be held Sunday, August 30, at 2 p.m. in Alumni Memorial Hall (gym). More information will be provided soon!

One Tryout Down, One To Go

The first of two cheerleading tryouts was held on May 17 at Alumni Memorial Hall. Scores from Sunday's competition have been recorded and will be compared against the participants in the final tryout. The second tryout date will be announced once the upcoming fall semester begins at Gordon College. On that date, the judges will return and select the new 2009-2010 Highlander sixteen member cheer squad.

Cheer For Gordon?

Cheerleading tryouts for the 2009-2010 Gordon College squad will be held on Sunday, May 17, at 2:30 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Hall (Gym). All participants will be required to sign a Liability Waiver and must be dressed in proper attire/footwear. During the session, you will be taught a cheer and asked to perform it at the tryout. In addition, it's recommended you have tumbling skills and stunt experience. Good Luck!
