Parrott Named To National Gold Glove Team

Gordon College First Baseman Blake Parrott was named to the Rawlings 2009 Gold Glove Team. The award is the benchmark of excellence and performance on the diamond in Major League Baseball. However, the honor also began to symbolize the best of the best at the collegiate level when Rawlings announced the first gold glove team in 2007.
For the third consecutive year, players throughout the country are recognized for their defensive abilities and outstanding play on the field.
