Definition of Cost of Attendance
08. 29. 2008Posted by: Financial Aid
Every student that applies for financial aid is assigned a Cost of Attendance Budget for the purpose of determining the total amount of financial aid a student can receive for a specific academic year. The Cost of Attendance Budget consists of charges for Tuition and Fees, Room and Board, Books and Supplies, Personal and Miscellaneous expenses and Transportation. Most, if not all of these costs, are estimates and change from year to year. The Cost of Attendance budget does not represent the exact cost that a student will incur while attending Gordon College for an academic year nor is it the amount of fiancial aid a student has been awarded. It is solely used to determine the overall financial aid eligibility of each student who applies for financial aid.
